Softball, getten up at six a.m., drive through mcdonalds and grabben a dr. pepper to wake up, go out in the 45 degree morning in a tanktop to win the tournament and never getten cold, thats life.

The real softball player takes pride in how much dirt she can collect in a weekend. Go to dinner on a nite she’s not playin ‘n it takes an hour of primping to get ready, and she still feels self-conscious. Go after a game ‘n she’ll walk right into the restaurant with a streak of dirt across her forehead, ratted hair, stained shirt, and brownish/white socks, or brown toes with sandals. LET’S EAT!

Tossed and turned all night, slept till noon, broke up with my boyfriend, forgot to wash my jersey, was late for warm-ups, defeated and played softball, NOT A BAD DAY.

When all you wanna do is get out there and get dirty, hit them bases hard and get up and do it again, thats when you know that Softball is your life!

When someone tells me I play like a girl, I say “Thanks” Ya know why? Cuz i play softball, and I’m tough, and I go out on that field day after day doing anything I can to win. I sweat, bleed, get bruised, get dirty, and I play to win.

When we played softball, I’d steal second base, feel guilty and go back.

When it comes to FAST-PITCH SOFTBALL its not a life or death situation its WAY MORE IMPORTANT than that.
