Yoga is a spiritual practice (a kind of exercise) for the purpose of controlling ones mind. Its main purpose is to make ones mind steady. The yoga originated in India in 3300BC. The person who practices yoga is called “Yogi” if male and “Yogini” if female. Yoga is religiously connected to Indian religions. Yoga means “to control” or “to unite”.
